Today, I’ve spent the day in Hartlepool supporting John Prescott, our candidate for the upcoming by-election.

I’m delighted that so many supporters came to join us for a day in the sunshine, it really did feel like a brief return to normality. I want to thank everybody who took the time to come and help, it made a massive difference.

We’ve been hearing over and over again today heart-breaking accounts of the challenges that people have faced over the last year. One thing is becoming clear, for the hundreds of thousands of voters across the country who abandoned the old establishment parties in 2019, there is no real appetite to return.

They and millions like them are looking for a common-sense alternative. That is what Reform UK is offering.

We are bolder, braver, more optimistic and we actually believe in the British people and their ability to flourish in a post-Brexit world.

For that to happen though, we need to do everything we can to ensure that the Government returns all of our freedoms to us and we need to lead the campaign against vaccine passports which are discriminatory and divisive.

The one thing that the Tories and Labour do each have is a formidable election machine. Whether they get their funding from big business or trade unions, they have the financial clout to drown out other parties if we let them.

What they don’t have however is you!

That’s why I really need your help. I need you to play your part in stopping the old parties from regaining their monopoly over British politics.

We cannot allow the UK to go backwards, to a time when democratic options were limited to two parties standing on virtually the same platform, offering the same old things.

We must stop the Tories and Labour from returning to business as usual; take it from me, they wouldn’t have the first idea about how to run one successfully.

Our ability to offer that alternative is entirely dependent on your support.
