Each spring, our Out of the Darkness Campus Walks give students (along withfaculty and family members) a way to shine a light of hope on suicideprevention, and create a culture that’s smart about safeguarding mentalhealth. The Campus Walks are more important than ever this year, and takingplace both virtually and in physically safe ways – giving students more andmore ways to get involved, raise much-needed funds, and send the message thatno one has to be alone.
It’s time to take action! Saturday, April 24 is our national Campus Day ofAction, where we will collectively come together to spread the word, participate in one of our many Campus Walk events happening that day, andencourage others to get involved, using the hashtag #HopeWalksHere – together,we can make this special day a time to be there for each other, and let ourfriends, family, and communities know that #HopeWalksHere.
Go to the OOTD Day of Action webpage now, where you’ll find creative ways toshow your impact, get people registered, FUNdraise, and create custom socialsharables that make taking action easy!
