Take Action to Help Us Stop Suicide
Each spring, our Out of the Darkness Campus Walks give students (along with faculty and family members) a way to shine a light of hope on suicide prevention, and create a culture that’s smart about safeguarding mental health. The Campus Walks are more important than ever this year, and taking place both virtually and in physically safe ways – giving students more and more ways to get involved, raise much-needed funds, and send the message that no one has to be alone.
It’s time to take action! Saturday, April 24 is our national Campus Day of Action, where we will collectively come together to spread the word, participate in one of our many Campus Walk events happening that day, and encourage others to get involved, using the hashtag #HopeWalksHere – together, we can make this special day a time to be there for each other, and let our friends, family, and communities know that #HopeWalksHere.
Go to the OOTD Day of Action webpage now, where you’ll find creative ways to show your impact, get people registered, FUNdraise, and create custom social sharables that make taking action easy!
