Dear John,
In any successful narrative shift campaign, some key questions must be addressed: What are elements that contribute to a successful narrative change strategy? Was change inevitable or the product of coordinated efforts that are possible to replicate? What is narrative anyway?
Our new report, “
Shifting The Narrative<[link removed]>,” provides fresh insights and answers to these questions by examining six historic cases of narrative shift – around the death penalty, the war on poverty, the Blackfish documentary, the #MeToo movement, gun safety, and racial profiling. In researching and analyzing these case studies, we gleaned a better understanding of some of the essential elements of narrative shift efforts, as well as strategies advocates can adopt when addressing narrative challenges.
Please join us for our
#ShiftingTheNarrative Livestream<[link removed]> presentation this Wednesday, April 14 at 2:00 EST, kicking off a four-episode livestream series that features members of our research team and narrative experts in the field.
In addition to highlighting new learnings from our research, Wednesday’s livestream will offer narrative shift recommendations and observations based on the findings of the report, answering why #shiftingthenarrative matters. We hope to see you there!
