Last week, Fox News called out Jamaal for endorsing Tahanie Aboushi,
candidate for Manhattan District Attorney — criticizing his support for
Tahanie's restorative justice lens and perspective, and Tahanie's pledge
to not prosecute a “long list of crimes”:

They also criticized Tahanie's efforts to bring transformative justice to
communities that have been historically targeted and marginalized, citing
her pro-decarceration and pro-decriminalization platform.

It's clear to see that conservative outlets like Fox News (and their
supporters) are getting nervous about our progressive movement. They've
seen how powerful we can be when we rally alongside progressive lawmakers
and candidates to demand better for our communities — and that's why they
continue to exert energy and attention on our every move.
