Last week, Fox News called out Jamaal for endorsing Tahanie Aboushi, candidate for Manhattan District Attorney — criticizing his support for Tahanie's restorative justice lens and perspective, and Tahanie's pledge to not prosecute a “long list of crimes”:
They also criticized Tahanie's efforts to bring transformative justice to communities that have been historically targeted and marginalized, citing her pro-decarceration and pro-decriminalization platform.
