local Democrats who attempt to enforce them. This has public health
experts worried that at a time when vaccinations are accelerating and
we’re slowing the spread of the virus, we’re opening ourselves up to risk.

Dr. Fauci knows: We’re restless and eager to get a sense of normalcy back.
But if we’re not careful, we risk another wave and one that could be
