We are excited to share that we have a new campaign with a new experimentcoming soon: Join us in sending letters to Democratic-leaning voters in Texas’6th Congressional District (TX-06) to fill a U.S. House of Representativesvacancy.

TX-06 is a Republican-leaning district—the vacant seat was most recently heldby a Republican—but in recent elections, the margins of victory have narrowed,resulting in closer races. In this experiment, we’re testing a tactic known as“vote tripling,” where we ask letter recipients not only to vote themselves,but also to mobilize their friends and family to vote.

experiment, we’rehoping to learn if we can amplify the effects of our letters by askingDemocratic-leaning voters to encourage their friends to vote, furthernarrowing (and possibly flipping) the margin between Democratic and Republicanvotes.

Vote tripling showed promising results in the 2020 elections, and we saw manyVote Forward volunteers try it out in their letters last year, so we’reexcited to conduct a larger experiment with this campaign.
