Well over half of Jewish Americans have either experienced or directly witnessed some form of antisemitism in the last five years. The new
[link removed]
ADL report on Jewish American Experiences with Antisemitism found that 63 percent of Jewish Americans have either experienced or heard antisemitic comments, slurs or threats targeting others during that time frame, an increase from 54 percent a year earlier.
This finding is alarming, as is the fact that nine percent of Jewish Americans indicated in the survey that they had been physically attacked in the last five years because they are Jewish, and that 49 percent of Jewish Americans are afraid of a violent attack at a synagogue.

These findings are a stark reminder that the corrosive continuum of antisemitism that you see online, in our communities and in deadly attacks in Pittsburgh, Poway, Jersey City and Monsey must be addressed not just by the Jewish community alone, but by the whole of society.

TAKING ACTION
To that end, ADL recently unveiled its

REPAIR plans, which provide pathways forward for the federal government and corporate leaders to tackle the broader problem of domestic extremism as well as the issue of antisemitism and other forms of hate spreading on social media, which the REPAIR Plan is specifically designed to address.
