** A call to action for the renewable energy sector

As part of the Responsible Energy Initiative ([link removed]) , we have launched a new report to set out a case for greater action to ensure renewable energy (RE) is responsible energy. The industry is essential globally for transitioning to a low carbon economy, but at the same time, we are seeing significant risks emerge in its supply chains. From land and labour rights and livelihood challenges to toxic waste and unsustainable use of raw materials.

The RE sector is in a unique position and has huge potential to drive a just transition towards a regenerative future. So how can the sector fully live up to its potential to drive positive social and environmental outcomes?
