John, CT Dems Chairwoman Nancy DiNardo reached out to you yesterday
with an important message about our big fundraising deadline this
week.

As Vice Chair of the Connecticut Democratic Party, I want to
make sure you know why this deadline is such a big deal -- then I
want to ask if you'll chip in before Wednesday to help us raise
the $15,000 we need to continue organizing for Democratic
victories in municipal elections happening throughout this year.

We all know what happened after Democrats won big on Election
Day last year -- Donald Trump and countless Republicans lied about
the results, culminating in a horrific insurrection at our
nation's capital on January 6th.

Since then, Democrats have remained focused on doing what the
American people want: passing comprehensive legislation to tackle
the pandemic and build back a better, more equitable country for
every American through measures like this month's American Rescue
Plan.

But the CT GOP hasn't moved on -- they just elected a new Vice
Chair of their own who actually attended the January 6th
insurrection and continues to insist that it was a peaceful day.
They're also fighting against Democrat's attempts to implement
early voting and permanent absentee voting because they're afraid
of democracy.

John, that's what we're organizing against right now, and it's why we
can't allow the GOP to gain an inch in this year's municipal
elections or next year's midterm elections. If you can, please
donate $10 to help us support our endorsed Democratic
candidates in these races in the weeks and months ahead→

Original Message from CT Democratic Party Chair Nancy DiNardo:

John, the Connecticut Democratic Party is facing our first major
test of the Biden-Harris administration this week.

Wednesday is our first quarterly fundraising deadline since
President Biden and Vice President Harris were sworn in, and we
need your help to continue moving Connecticut forward.

Can I count on you to chip in $10 today to help us reach
our $15,000 end-of-quarter fundraising goal? Your support is
critical as we work to elect Democrats in municipal elections
this year and lay the groundwork for success in next year's
midterm elections.

Important municipal elections are happening throughout our state
this year, and we're working hard to support our endorsed
Democratic candidates and local Democratic Party leaders by
providing access to organizing tools, training, and much more.

We're also laying the groundwork for next year, when Reps.
Jahana Hayes, Rosa DeLauro, and every other member of
Connecticut's Congressional delegation will be up for
re-election, along with Senator Blumenthal and the Governor's
seat.

John, it's critical that we reach every fundraising goal this year --
that's the only way we'll have the resources we need to organize
and win against the GOP's comeback efforts throughout the months
ahead.

Democrats won big up and down the ballot in Connecticut and
across the country last year because of sustained grassroots
support from people like you -- if you can, please chip in before
Wednesday's quarterly fundraising deadline to help us continue
this success.
