STAND WITH OUT LEADERS
We stand with Leslie Herod [[link removed]] : earlier this week, a right-wing sheriff called Colorado state Representative Leslie Herod a “terrorist” and urged a packed room of conspiracy theorists to “get her out of office” [[link removed]] . Rep. Herod made history as the first Black out LGBTQ person elected to the Colorado General Assembly.
Georgia state Representative Park Cannon was arrested and dragged from the state capitol [[link removed]] after she knocked on the door of the Governor’s office as he was signing legislation to suppress voters in his state [[link removed]] . Thankfully, Rep. Cannon has since been released and is safe [[link removed]] . We're proud to stand with Rep. Cannon and demand the charges be dropped [[link removed]] .
Transphobes in New York launched a last attack against Spotlight candidate Elisa Crespo just as voters hit the polls [[link removed]] . It will take a bit before results come [[link removed]] , and we’re proud to stand with Elisa while we wait.
Chi Ossé , our candidate for New York City Council District 36, hit the campaign trail for Elisa [[link removed]] and let her know he’s on her team. [[link removed]] We love to see out candidates supporting each other!

We’re about four days away from decision day for Victor Reyes! Roughly 200 state party central committee members will pick a party nominee to fill Interior Secretary Deb Haaland’s seat on March 30.
