It has been a very difficult week. Our thoughts are with the families and communities of all impacted by the shooting in Colorado on Monday, which is the most recent of 104 mass shootings [[link removed]] in 2021. Over the past week alone, our country has endured eight mass shootings [[link removed]] . These shootings are not isolated, but rather a pattern of the gun violence crisis in this country--a crisis that disproportionately impacts communities of color.

While rates of gun violence have continued to increase, our movement has continued to mobilize to demand change nationally, and locally. We are hosting our next Monthly Building Community Call on Tuesday, March 30th at 3PM EST / 2PM CST [[link removed]] .
