We cannot believe we still have to protest this

===========================

John,

Today, two-thirds of all minimum wage workers in America are women and the harsh reality of the gender wage gap typically translates into more than $10,000 per year lost in earnings for women. The disparity is even more significant for women of color. In 2019, Black women were paid 62% of what White, non-Hispanic men were paid on average. It takes Latina women roughly two years to earn what White, non-Hispanic men earn in just one. On average, Native women working full time make around $0.58 to white men's dollars.

We cannot believe we still have to protest this.

For far too long women, particularly women of color, have been left behind. On Thursday at 5 PM ET will be co-hosting our fifth 100 Days of a Feminist Agenda listening session alongside our partner organization, Black Women's Blueprint. We will be joined by experts and activists who have been on the frontlines fighting for economic justice.

We need Economic Justice. We need Equal Pay.

Join us on Thursday, March 25th at 5:00 PM ET
