As you read this, immigrants housed in prisons are being indefinitely subjected to long term medical neglect, sexual assault, and extreme solitary confinement -- and they don't even have legal counsel to fight for them. Many children don't even have beds to sleep on. Siblings are being separated. And they're being detained longer than is legally allowed.

No man, woman, or child seeking a better life in this country should be thrown into a cell to suffer these countless systemic abuses -- this needs to end NOW.

A group of House Democrats are demanding Biden not renew ICE's contracts with private prison groups, local jails, and state prisons.

Now more than ever, they need our help to FINALLY get rid of the financial incentives that have driven the mass detainment of migrants for too long.
