On the outskirts of Lusaka, Zambia, Jacob and his classmates line up to
receive what is often their first or only meal for the day. Jacob
signals his hunger level to a caregiver, who supplies a nutritious Rise
Against Hunger meal according to his needs.
Changes in Jacob's demeanor are noticeable. Teachers and volunteers
witness newfound joy, commitment and confidence. But Jacob's community
is changing, too
