To no one’s surprise, Marjorie Taylor Greene is back in the headlines, this time for promoting a giveaway raffle of an AR-15 with the contributions going straight into her hateful, vile campaign.

There are two different styles of campaigns, ones who cheaply gain votes and contributions through gimmicks, and ones who create a true grassroots movement, and who have their ideals and policy at the forefront, not cheap tricks.

I want voters who truly believe that we can restore sanity to our politics. Our movement is about change and progress -- not gimmicks and raffles. If you believe like I do that politics should be built around ideas and policy, and not free guns, then join our movement today!

Sensible gun control is crucial to be able to ensure the safety of others while allowing for self defense and proper recreational use. I know one thing for sure, giving out guns in a raffle hosted by a political campaign is no way to solve this complex issue.

I promise I will never abuse the contributions I receive for cheap media stunts like this one, and every single penny will go toward building a movement strong enough to take down MTG and bring back reason and respect to our political discourse.
