rescued in this cruelty case — including other dogs, donkeys, horses, goats,

Katarina’s case underscores the urgent need for strong laws that truly protect
animals. You see, Katarina’s abuser had been charged with animal cruelty — and pleaded

animal abusers accountable for their crimes AND prevent them from abusing more
