The Equality Act will prohibit discrimination on the basis of
sexual orientation or gender identity because every American
deserves equal protection of the law.

If passed, this comprehensive legislation will put an end to
LGBTQ discrimination in many aspects of our lives — thats why I

Two years ago, I co-sponsored this bill and presided over the
last hour of debate before it passed in the House, but it was
blocked by the GOP Senate.

With a Democratic majority in the House and now the Senate,
the House is taking another vote on the bill this week. This is
our moment to pass this sweeping legislation!

President Biden has publicly supported this bill, even saying
it will be a priority in his first 100 days in office.
