Over this past week, I’ve been heartbroken by the images coming out of Texas. Folks all across the state are struggling with devastating power outages, freezing temperatures, and water shortages. Millions have suffered over the past week. Many have lost everything, including loved ones.

What’s happening in Texas is not the result of windmills failing, or any nonsense Texas Conservatives claim. It’s the result of arrogance and a failed ideology that puts profits above the human needs of people.
