We've been clear on this: $1,400 checks are the bare minimum to keep people afloat as the pandemic's economic crisis stretches on into 2021.

But some members of Congress don't even think that's appropriate -- and they're trying to cap the $1,400 stimulus checks for those who earned $50,000 at most.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said it best: "It is shockingly out of touch to assert that $50k is 'too wealthy' to receive relief."

More than 50 House Democrats are now urging President Biden not to exclude millions of Americans from the relief they desperately need. Would you add your name to theirs now?
