Black History Month is a time to reflect on more than just history.

It's a time to elevate stories, honor important leaders in the Black community, and celebrate Black culture -- but it is also a stark reminder that the fight for equality is ongoing, and honoring Black history should never be limited to just February.

Black history is American history, and we need to be listening, learning, and lifting it every single day -- and that's exactly what the National Action Network has been doing since 1991.

Founded by my dear friend Rev. Al Sharpton, the National Action Network has been committed to continuing the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and securing civil rights and equality for all people over the last 30 years.
