In just a
moment, we’re going to ask you to make your first donation to Ro this year
to hit our End of Month goal. But first, let us explain why meeting this
goal is so important. 

For members of Congress like Ro, who doesn’t take corporate PAC money,
fundraising isn’t always a top priority. Ro would rather spend that time
fighting for working families and diving deep into policy proposals. 

Unfortunately, in the 2020 election, 88% of Congressional races were won
by the candidate who raised the most money. There is no doubt about it –
in our political system, how much you fundraise can change everything. 

Which puts our team in a bit of a sticky situation. Either these emails
raise enough from small-dollar donors that Ro can keep focusing on
fighting for our shared values, or Ro has to spend more time fundraising
to keep our campaign afloat.
