For members of Congress like Ro, who doesn’t take corporate PAC money, fundraising isn’t always a top priority. Ro would rather spend that time fighting for working families and diving deep into policy proposals. 

Unfortunately, in the 2020 election, 88% of Congressional races were won by the candidate who raised the most money. There is no doubt about it – in our political system, how much you fundraise can change everything. 

Which puts our team in a bit of a sticky situation. Either these emails raise enough from small-dollar donors that Ro can keep focusing on fighting for our shared values, or Ro has to spend more time fundraising to keep our campaign afloat.
