Governor Ducey Announces Funding To Help Restaurants Expand Outdoor Seating, Protect Patrons And Staff ([link removed])
The Governor announced an additional $1 million for a statewide program aimed at helping Arizona restaurants and other dining establishments expand outdoor seating and limit the spread of COVID-19. The funding will be directed to pending applications submitted to the Safest Outside Restaurant Assistance Program, launched in December 2020 to support local restaurants.

Governor Ducey declared this week, January 24-30, 2021, Arizona School Choice Week to recognize the importance of ensuring families and students have access to learning options that best fit their unique needs. The Executive Budget, released earlier this month, invests $10 million to expand transportation solutions so students can access schools that are right for them, and to provide resources that inform families about alternative education options.

PRIMER: Arizona’s Continued Commitment To Water Conservation ([link removed])
Alongside the Drought Contingency Plan, Governor Ducey created the Governor's Water Augmentation Innovation and Conservation Council and signed into law the Groundwater Conservation Grant program, which helps protect Arizona’s groundwater resources by focusing on water education, innovation and technology.
