Governor Ducey Issues Advisory To Accelerate COVID-19 Vaccine Distribution
The advisory allows the state to reallocate vaccination doses to where they will be most rapidly distributed and extends the requirement for hospitals, testing laboratories, and other health care facilities to report detailed information about COVID-19.
Governor Ducey: These Targeted Investments Will Help Arizona Emerge From The Pandemic Even Stronger
"Because of our fiscally responsible decisions and a growing economy, we’re in a better position than many other states to help hard-working Arizonans. My budget sets aside $200 million for tax relief for everyday Arizonans and small businesses who have really been impacted this past year. When completed, this will be the single largest individual tax cut in state history."
Governor Ducey Announces Funding To Help Restaurants Expand Outdoor Seating, Protect Patrons And Staff
The Governor announced an additional $1 million for a statewide program aimed at helping Arizona restaurants and other dining establishments expand outdoor seating and limit the spread of COVID-19. The funding will be directed to pending applications submitted to the Safest Outside Restaurant Assistance Program, launched in December 2020 to support local restaurants.

Governor Ducey Announces New Appointments To AZPOST
The Governor has been meeting with community leaders to understand ways the state can continue to foster trust between law enforcement and the community. One recommendation was to ensure AZPOST better reflects the diversity of the community they serve. The appointments reflect that recommendation and will serve the community well.
Arizona Celebrates School Choice Week
Governor Ducey declared this week, January 24-30, 2021, Arizona School Choice Week to recognize the importance of ensuring families and students have access to learning options that best fit their unique needs. The Executive Budget, released earlier this month, invests $10 million to expand transportation solutions so students can access schools that are right for them, and to provide resources that inform families about alternative education options.
PRIMER: Arizona’s Continued Commitment To Water Conservation
Alongside the Drought Contingency Plan, Governor Ducey created the Governor's Water Augmentation Innovation and Conservation Council and signed into law the Groundwater Conservation Grant program, which helps protect Arizona’s groundwater resources by focusing on water education, innovation and technology.
