The new session of Congress has just begun, and national Republicans are already looking ahead to the midterm elections. They're laying out plans on how to retake the House majority, and history has shown they have the advantage.

The president's party loses an average of 27 seats in midterm elections, and Kim's purple district will be one of their top targets.
