The new session of Congress has just begun, and national Republicans are already looking ahead to the midterm elections. They're laying out plans on how to retake the House majority, and history has shown they have the advantage.
The president's party loses an average of 27 seats in midterm elections, and Kim's purple district will be one of their top targets. Earlier this month, a majority of Republicans in the House, including Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, voted to overturn the results of the 2020 election. Holding on to our House majority is crucial to protecting our democracy.
