Learn about the criminal justice reform agenda for the upcoming #NVleg
Friend,
Next week, the 2021 legislative session will begin, amidst a global
pandemic and many other crises. As we saw over the summer, systemic
racism, particularly in policing, is far past due for real solutions.
While the legislature declared racism a public health emergency last year,
we need to see action from our lawmakers in 2021.
Back at the usual date and time on [ [link removed] ]Facebook Live, today, at 5:00 PM,
Out in Front with Annette will discuss criminal justice reform and the
legislative session with the ACLU of NV’s Holly Welborn, and Leslie
Turner, Mass Liberation Director.
Bring your questions and be sure to tune in HERE to learn what this
upcoming session has in store for addressing mass incarceration, police
violence, and more.
Hope to see you there,
Maria-Teresa Liebermann-Parraga
Deputy Director
