Next week, the 2021 legislative session will begin, amidst a global pandemic and many other crises. As we saw over the summer, systemic racism, particularly in policing, is far past due for real solutions. While the legislature declared racism a public health emergency last year, we need to see action from our lawmakers in 2021.
