In the Senate in recent decades, the filibuster has morphed ... into a silent but lethal tool that lets any one senator raise the threshold for passing bills from a simple majority (where the framers set it) to a supermajority of 60 votes."

Republicans are FURIOUS over the 2020 elections. So they are going to do everything in their power to deny Biden -- and Democrats -- the supermajority they need to enact their legislative agenda.

The lengths that the GOP will go to reject the will of the people are deeply upsetting. That's why our best solution is to eradicate the filibuster -- and that's why we are urging Biden NOW to make this one of his top priorities.
