This Monday, we celebrate and honor Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s life and legacy as a leader of the civil rights movement. Dr. King championed causes such as desegregation, voting rights, labor rights, and worked tirelessly to uplift the Black community before his assassination in 1968. His influence has inspired many to continue to fight for racial equality and justice and continues to do so today.
