Canadian Boreal forests, known as the “Amazon of the North.” These forests
shelter vast herds of caribou and have been protected for millennia by the
Indigenous peoples that call the Boreal forests home. Across the world, Procter
& Gamble’s palm oil suppliers devastate Indonesia’s tropical rainforests to
provide ingredients for its soaps and shampoos.

In 2020, a full two-thirds of Procter & Gamble’s shareholders voted to make the
company end the destruction. John, can we count on your
help to make Procter & Gamble honor its promises?

products. Instead of using materials from precious forests, the company should
use recycled materials, sustainable fibers and responsible sourcing methods.
Instead of allowing rainforests to burn, Procter & Gamble needs to listen to the
indigenous communities that are directly impacted by its bad business, and to
take their lead in saving Indonesia’s last wild jungles.
