The nation’s seven-day average of coronavirus-related deaths has broken past 3,000 a day, reaching 3,249 on Sunday. And the cumulative total of virus deaths surpassed 375,000 on Monday, as the

One of my favorite organizations is Headcount, a non-partisan organization that uses the power of music to register voters and promote participation in democracy. Headcount’s executive director Andy Bernstein came on my “Truth of the Matter” podcast a couple of weeks ago to talk about the work they do.
