On Wednesday, the country watched in horror as terrorists overtook our Capitol building. The scene that unfolded was a direct result of incitement from Donald Trump and his enablers.

Trump's encouragement of violent takeover is undemocratic and fundamentally un-American. It doesn't matter how much time is left for Trump's term. The sitting U.S. president cannot incite an attack on our seat of government without facing consequences.
