TCDSA chapter members have been active in the recent series of anti-fascist protests in the capitol area of St. Paul, and many members are interested in being on the ground on Saturday afternoon for the People's March organized by the Twin Cities Workers Defense Alliance. To be careful as possible and to ensure our collective safety, the Steering Committee has approved an emergency member meeting on Friday, January 8, 2021, at 7:00 pm for a training led by WDA organizers. We are also looking to build consensus and to take a vote on the chapter's participation.
If this will be your first experience on the ground at a street protest, please take the time to watch this video from TCDSA Red Rabbits for an introduction to protest safety and security.
