Join DQC and the Hunt Institute for "Thinking Creatively to Evaluate Student Learning During COVID-19: Vital Insights Using Skip-Year Growth" ([link removed]) – the first in a two-part webinar series. Panelists include:
* DQC Board Chair Tomeka Hart
* Rob Curtin of the Massachusetts Department of Education
* Dr. Juan D’Brot of the Center for Assessment
* Marie Huchton of the Colorado Department of Education and the Harvard University Strategic Data Project

Growth data is crucial to understanding how COVID-19 impacted student progress and ensuring every student gets the support they need to get back on track for success. The suspension of 2020 assessments is a roadblock for measuring growth, but it’s not the end of the road: states can and should continue to measure student growth in 2021.
