Jack:
Happy new year, and happy Election Day in Georgia !
Today, Georgians will decide which party controls the U.S. Senate—and whether we can finally end Mitch McConnell’s tenure as Senate Majority Leader.
I know we’ve asked a lot of you these past two months —thank you for giving generously to help elect Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff. Today, I wanted to share a few last-minute volunteer opportunities to help boost turnout in the final stretch of the campaign.

And don’t forget: It took ten days before television networks projected that Joe Biden would win Georgia. Today’s runoff elections are expected to be equally tight— so in all likelihood, we won’t have results on election night.
We should also be prepared for another “red mirage”: The first votes counted this evening are likely to be heavily Republican. As mail ballots begin to be counted, Democrats should gain ground.
In short? It will probably be a few days (or weeks) before we know the results. We’ll keep you posted on how to stay informed and involved.
Thanks for all you do!
