New report shows youth e-cigarette use remains at epidemic levels and harm perceptions of vaping significantly rise among teens ([link removed])

The Monitoring the Future Survey published in JAMA Pediatrics shows that nicotine vaping among youth remained high in 2020 with 22% of 10th and 12th graders using e-cigarettes in the last 30 days, essentially unchanged from 22.5% in 2019. To accelerate progress, we must clear the market of all flavored tobacco products (including menthol) and stop playing whack-a-mole with loophole-ridden policies.

Calling all young people: Applications for the truth® Ambassador program is live ([link removed])

The proven-effective truth youth public education campaign is looking for 10 passionate individuals who are out to make tobacco use a thing of the past. The truth Ambassador program is a year-long leadership program for one of the most successful public health campaigns in history. Ambassadors will work with Truth Initiative to create sustainable projects that educate their peers on the harmful impacts of tobacco. This year, the program will be completely virtual.
