single
system

reduce
fees

their
families
during

by
helping
renters
avoid
eviction,
making
student
loan
debt
dischargeable,
and
allowing
people
to
protect
their
homes
and
cars
during
the
process
*
Addressing
racial
and
gender
disparities
in
the
system
by
preventing
people
from
obtaining
relief
for
debts
arising
from
civil
rights
violations
and
exempting
sources
of
income
and
assets
traceable
to
alimony,
child
support,
the
child
tax
credit,
and
the
Earned
Income
Tax
Credit

Closing
loopholes
like
the
“Millionaires
Loophole”
and
the
“spendthrift
clause
loophole”
that
allow
the
wealthy
to
exploit
the
system

Cracking
down
on
predatory
