Since the beginning, we've warned that Donald Trump will continue to go scorched-earth during this lame-duck period, and we needed to be on high alert. Now, he's using unjust pardons to rally his base in Georgia. There's no dampening their enthusiasm for whatever comes out of his mouth -- but we know that matters of justice like this shouldn't be used to score political points.

friend -- make no mistake: Trump is on his way out of White House, but if we lose these Georgia runoffs, the GOP's egregious abuses of power will continue to thrive under Mitch McConnell's tyrannical reign as Senate Majority Leader.
