We don=E2=80=99t know what=E2=80=99s going to happen with the Texas lawsuit=
or any other legal challenges to the stolen election, but it wouldn=E2=80=
=99t hurt to start putting the pressure on these so-called Republican legis=
latures. There is a chance that the legislatures of these states will be th=
e ones to choose the electors that will vote in the Electoral College. If t=
hat=E2=80=99s the case, we must flood their offices with the demand that th=

14th

Keep an eye out every week for a new activity or book or lesson to bring re=
al civics back to our children.=20

This week, as we are now in winter, it would be a good time to learn about =
the winter of 1777-1778 at Valley Forge, during the Revolutionary War.=20

There is a wonderful write-up and short, 4-minute video describing what tha=
t winter was like for the Continental Army that kids of many ages would fin=
d interesting linked below. Additionally, there is a longer, nearly 30-minu=
te mini-movie about the winter at Valley Forge linked below, and again, wou=
ld likely be interesting to kids (and adults!) of many ages.

The longer video is titled, =E2=80=9CThe Winter Patriots: A Revolutionary W=
ar Tale,=E2=80=9D and is a good reminder of what so many patriots went thro=
ugh for liberty and freedom over the winter (and many years). We are in win=
ter now, and we face an uphill battle, yet again, for liberty and freedom i=
n America. Use this lesson to help your kids or grandkids (and yourself) to=
take heart and keep fighting.

**** Make Real Civics Education a Priority Again – Week of December 14th

Keep an eye out every week for a new activity or book or lesson to bring real civics back to our children.

This week, as we are now in winter, it would be a good time to learn about the winter of 1777-1778 at Valley Forge, during the Revolutionary War.

There is a wonderful write-up and short, 4-minute video describing what that winter was like for the Continental Army that kids of many ages would find interesting linked below. Additionally, there is a longer, nearly 30-minute mini-movie about the winter at Valley Forge linked below, and again, would likely be interesting to kids (and adults!) of many ages.

The longer video is titled, “The Winter Patriots: A Revolutionary War Tale,” and is a good reminder of what so many patriots went through for liberty and freedom over the winter (and many years). We are in winter now, and we face an uphill battle, yet again, for liberty and freedom in America. Use this lesson to help your kids or grandkids (and yourself) to take heart and keep fighting.
