Pallavi was 16-years old and on the way to visit her grandmother when she was kidnapped and gang-raped by 12 young men. They filmed her attack and threatened to share the video if she told anyone. 



Her attackers didn’t just harm Pallavi. Her father killed himself, the legal system failed her and her family were forced to seek protection. Her fight for justice continues. 



Sadly, Pallavi’s horrific story is one of many we’ve recorded against Dalit women and girls in the Haryana region of India.
