Today, across the country and across the world, activists are walking out of school and away from their jobs to strike for our climate. What these folks are doing couldn't be more important.

I'm so proud of all of the Americans fighting to take immediate, strong action on climate change. We need your voices. We need to keep hearing from you. And we must continue the fight to defeat this global crisis.

It's time for America and Congress to take serious action on climate change -- but until we flip the Senate, meaningful legislation addressing our climate crisis is a pipe dream.
