Dear John,
I'm so excited to share with you an
extraordinary opportunity to make 2X the difference in the fight
against Alzheimer's disease. The holidays are the season of giving.
It's a time to give and support what matters most to us.

That's the spirit which led Dr. Ellen
H. Yankellow and Mr. William Chapman - who share your commitment
to supporting people living with Alzheimer's disease - to agree
to match all gifts made to this challenge, up to $100,000. But we must
do our part and raise the same amount before December 14 to fight the
nation's largest under-recognized public health crisis.

Dr. Ellen H. Yankellow and Mr. William
Chapman's gift will help accelerate Alzheimer's research, while your
gift will help to provide care and support and advance critical
research.
I know it's a busy time of year for
you and for us all. But I also know how urgent our fight is -
and how many people are counting on us. Today, I'm asking you to stand
up for the more than 5 million people living with Alzheimer's in the
United States and their 16 million caregivers. If we don't, those
numbers will just continue to grow.

All during the holiday season, our
free 24/7 Helpline (800.272.3900) will be open taking calls and
offering professional and compassionate support. Your generous gift
will help ensure that masters-level clinicians are available to serve
all who need us - from caregivers dealing with the additional
stress of the holidays to relatives recognizing the signs of dementia
in their loved ones for the first time.

Your gift will also help advance our
mission to lead the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia
- by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and
early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.

One of the most effective ways we can help end this crisis is
by providing care and support and advancing research. That's what your
gift to the Alzheimer's Association today will do during our $100,000
Matching Gift Challenge:
* $16 can be matched to $32 in impact.

* $30 can be matched to $60.

* And if you can be extra-generous, because of the holiday season
and the urgent need, $50 can be matched 2X to have the impact of
$100, but only for the next seven days.

We've faced a lot of challenges this
year, including the COVID-19 pandemic which has affected so many
families and caregivers and changed so many of our holiday traditions.
But one thing that won't change is our shared commitment to end this
progressive and fatal brain disorder.

Your support has never been more vital.

I'm asking you to please make your
first gift now, during this season of giving, knowing your generosity
can be matched.
