*Make a difference to the lives of migrant children across the region

* *This is an exciting and innovative new post to help shape the recruitment, assessment and retention of foster carers for migrant children and young people across the East Midlands. the post holder will lead a new team of Social Workers, delivering a high-quality service and driving the recruitment of carers for migrant young people.

The project is an East midland's initive, with the post holder being employed by Leicestershire County Council. Some home working is an option. The post will be offered on a permanent basis with the with the sucessful candidate being initially assigned to the 18-months project and then moving onto a management post in another part of the service, following the project's end.

The authority is also willing to consider a secondment opportunity (from another local authority), based on an 18 month duration subject to line manager's approval.*
