Fellow Conservative,

We hope you are all enjoying your holiday weekend—we’re intentionally keeping this weekend’s update short, so you can return to your families.

This Thanksgiving, we wish to give thanks to those conservatives giving their time, energy, and resources in Georgia!

Over 800 activists have already volunteered to help us speak with Georgia voters ahead of the runoff election on January 5th—THANK YOU!
And another big THANK YOU to all those who have contributed and supported our efforts throughout 2020—to end lockdowns, to support police, and to knock doors ahead of November.

For those seeking to continue helping in Georgia, there are many ways to get involved (even from afar). Check out our Georgia toolkit for more info. <[link removed]>

And why are we putting so much energy and resources into Georgia?

Because as Jessica Anderson explained on Fox & Friends, “The two Georgia Senate races that are in a runoff now, really are the last line of defense against [Biden’s] disastrous nominations going forward.”

Control of the Senate is at stake. And with it, our shared conservative values.

Lame Duck Congress
Legislators will return to Washington this week to continue work in the “lame duck” session of Congress, a period of time that is historically fraught with bad legislation. Rest assured, we are closely monitoring developments and are working to advance conservative priorities.

Here are some key bills to follow:

- Next week, the House will vote on Senator Harris’s and Representative Nadler’s bill to legalize and tax marijuana (H.R.3884 <[link removed]>). At a time when the integrity of our elections are under attack, it says a lot that this would be Nancy Pelosi’s priority.
- Pelosi also continues to push for a COVID-related spending bill that will contain hundreds of billions in bailout money for liberal states that ran up debts before the pandemic and have since embraced oppressive lockdowns that have stymied their economies.
- We are currently operating under a continuing resolution (CR) to fund the federal government until December 11th. This week, negotiators appear to have reached a deal that paves the way toward a massive omnibus spending bill. While no final agreement has been reached, we should expect (and be ready to oppose) a number of liberal priorities that are likely to be included.
- Congress also continues work on this year’s National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). Liberals are trying to include a provision to rename military bases named after Confederate soldiers and President Trump has threatened to veto the whole bill if this provision is in the final text.

Thank you again for your time and support. This holiday season really is a time to cherish and remember all that we have to be grateful for.

The holidays also remind us of what we are fighting for—faith, family, and freedom.

Happy Thanksgiving!
