Thanksgiving NOW

Dear John,

This year is likely to be a Thanksgiving like no other. Whether we're gathering with family, staying home, or sharing the holiday over Zoom, we're all looking for a little bit of normal after all we've gone through. We deserve it!

And you deserve enormous thanks and appreciation for all you've done for NOW this past year. I hope when you look back at all that's happened, you'll see how essential it is for you to stay engaged with the issues as part of the community of NOW members and supporters.

I don't know if any of us will be able to spend an entire Thanksgiving dinner without mentioning Donald Trump, though it might be nice to try. But when it comes to remembering what we're thankful for, my answer is simple.

I'm thankful for you--and I always will be. We'll have more to do in the coming weeks and months, but for now, as we celebrate a Thanksgiving we could never have anticipated, I just wanted to tell you how much you mean to all of us at NOW. You should be proud of all that we've achieved-together.
