John,

We need your help. Toxic chemicals continue to be added to products like makeup, furniture, and
food packaging. In fact, 80% of Canadians were found to have levels of BPA in
their bodies - a chemical found in everything from receipts to plastic
containers.

But the federal government hasn't taken any action in strengthening our
protections from toxics. The Canadian Environmental Protection Act (CEPA) is the piece of legislation that is supposed to protect us from harmful
chemicals, but it hasn’t been updated in over 20 years!

That's why we need you. We need your voice to push MPs across Canada to step up
and demand stronger protections from toxics.

Calling might be outside your comfort zone. But speaking out against the
government’s lengthy delays in protecting our health and environment is a
powerful action that could help us kick out toxics.

Making the call is easy! We’ve set up a tool that will connect you directly to
your MP’s office where you can leave a message using some of the talking points
we’ve provided.

Every call counts — I hope you’ll join us today!
