Weekly travel update in Nottingham 13 November - 20 November

Walking and cycling
Walking and Cycling
If you need to make a journey we encourage you to walk or cycle where possible. This will allow you to practise social distancing while you travel and minimise contact with others, helping to stop the spread of Covid-19.
Walking and cycling is good for mental health and can help us all to deal with the pandemic - plus riding for transport frees up space on public transport for those key workers who cant travel by bike.

Active Travel Fund
Nottingham City Council has today been awarded a further 2m from the Government to spend on measures that make walking and cycling easier. This will allow us to build on and improve our existing trial measures, and explore some new ones. Find out more about our proposals here. [ [link removed] ]

The first webinar, taking place next week during Road Safety Week, focuses on winter cycling tips. For more information visit our website. [ [link removed] ]
